For teens and adults who are neurodiverse and experiencing difficulties with social skills, social anxiety and/or social isolation.
Dungeons and Dragons allow players to explore and practice different idenities, scenarios and behaviours in a more structured environment. Dungeons and Dragons allow the players to establish experiences with boundaries which may feel more psychologically safe, in comparison to the real world for neurodiverse individuals.
This allows players to experience shifts in self esteem and practice transferable interpersonal skills, self advocacy and personal liberation.
