His professional experience extends over twenty years, with a significant focus on facilitating personal and professional growth within high-pressure corporate environments. His substantial tenure at McKinsey &Company, extending beyond twelve years, has cultivated his acumen for guiding leaders and organisations towards sustainable change.
Gus provides a person-centred and objective-driven approach to his clinical practice, which is informed by his qualifications in clinical psychology, production/industrial engineering, and business strategy& communication. Gus skilfully merges his understanding of corporate environments and dynamics with therapeutic strategies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Problem-Solving Therapy. His practice is LGBTQIA+ informed and sensitive, as well as being informed by Trauma-informed interventions, Mindfulness techniques, and attachment-theory informed approaches. Dr James Morandini is the clinic director, and provides a rangepsychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. Heprovides specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management ofchildhood and adolescent gender dysphoria. He also providesassessment and diagnosis for gender dysphoria in adults and canprovide WPATH medical letters where appropriate. James also has afocus on matters of sexual orientation, including overcoming shame,relationship difficulties, and exploring identity confusion. Morebroadly James utilises CBT, DBT, and Schema Therapy in treatingmood and anxiety issues, as well as personality disorders.
